Will Jedi Master Mace Windu appear in Star Wars 7?

George Lucas has revealed that Mace Windu survived his
fall from Emperor Dantius Palpatine's office window
during Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith. Exactly
how Mace Windu managed to survive against all odds is
unknown. Lucas has stated that a Star Wars character is
deceased for certain ONLY if that character is seen dead
on the movie screen during the Star Wars movie episodes.

Given the Star Wars fans didn't actually see Mace Windu
perish, this means it is possible that Mace Windu lived
to fight another time in the future. At the moment, Lucas
hasn't told the fans what role Mace Windu will have in
Star Wars Episode 7.

Since we know Boba Fett will be seen in Star Wars Seven,
this supposes that a final showdown between Boba Fett vs.
Mace Windu will probably happen in order for Boba Fett to
attempt to seek vengeance for Mace Windu slaying Boba Fett's
father named Jango Fett at the end of Star Wars Episode 2
Attack of the Clones.

The legendary Star Wars plot formula requires for an ancient
and venerable Jedi Master to die in the first episode of each
Star Wars film trilogy. It is likely Mace Windu will serve this
story element role similar to Qui-Gon Jinn in Star Wars Episode
1 The Phantom Menace and Obi-Wan Ben Kenobi in Star Wars
Episode 4 A New Hope.

It is unlikely Mace Windu will survive Star Wars vii. Mace Windu
will probably have no prominent role in Star Wars Episode 8,
but Mace Windu will return as a Jedi ghost spirit at the conclusion
of Star Wars Episode 9.
