Star Wars Episode 7 vii Oscar Nominations Academy Awards Oscars
What chances does Star Wars Episode Seven have of dominating
Oscar nominations or Oscars awards from the Academy?
Star Wars 7 has ABSOLUTELY no hopes of being nominated for any
type of meaningful Oscar awards from the Academy. Back in the
ancient days of Star Wars when George Lucas was a zero at life
like most of the people in Hollywood, the Star Wars movie episodes
achieved many, many Oscar nominations and would actually win
Academy awards for technical achievements.
Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope was actually nominated as one of the
Best Pictures of 1977. However, this changed after Lucas became the
most successful movie director, producer and writer in the history
of cinema. As the financial net worth of Lucas continued to sky
rocket higher and higher out of control year after year, Lucas
unwittingly became the most envied person making motion pictures.
The profits from Star Wars have been far beyond excessive. Star Wars
is the most lucrative film franchise of all time by a very, very
extremely large margin. This created infinite amounts of resentment
from the Hollywood movie studio executives that had to read about the
massive success of Star Wars. The reason Lucas is so envied is because
Lucas made the greatest movie production deal ever known.
20th Century Fox made the costly mistake of allowing Lucasfilm to own
100 percent of the intellectual property rights of Star Wars. This
caused the loss of untold billions of U.S. dollars in revenues for
Twentieth Century Fox over the past three decades. After encountering
the unparalleled business genius of Lucas, Hollywood NEVER again made
the mistake of allowing an unknown film maker to control the copyrights
and trademarks for any movie production.
In the final examination, Lucas is a multi billionaire with literally
more money than every single individual combined, who have worked in
the movie business. Being the best at anything makes people jealous of
your accomplishments. Ironically, the success of Star Wars makes it
impossible for any Star Wars movie episode to be nominated for
recognition from Hollywood. The paradox is that Lucas has to pay a
steep price for outsmarting the entire world.
